On October 24th, the working meetings on the non-coal mine safety supervision and the building of model non-coal mine in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was  held in Baiyun Ebo, Baotou City with the more than 100 participants including the officials and representatives from the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, the Autonomous Region Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, and the mine  safety supervision authorities of all the prefecture and league in the Region , the mine safety supervision authority of 15 key non-coal mining counties in the Region, and the delegates  of  20 non-coal model mines. Thanks to its excellent performance in the mine safety management, Jilong Mining was listed as one of the  model non-coal mines in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Mr. Sun Lijun, the general manager of Jilong Mining, was invited to attend and address the  meeting.

Mr. Sun Lijun highlights that Jilong Mining always regards safety production as the lifeline of the mine operation, fully aware of  the importance and urgency of safety operation and actively responds to the call of the country and the region with a high sense of responsibility and mission to promote the safety management . First of all,  the mine had established a clear accountability system for the safety production at all levels to ensure that safety is performed and committed by everyone in every job. Secondly, the mine keeps increasing the investment on the  safety by introducing the advanced equipment and technology to  improve the emergency preparedness and responsiveness. By the constant training programs and the emergency mock drills on regular basis, the  employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities had been greatly enhanced. Risk identification and prevention are the key to eliminate the safety hazard in addition to the safety inspection and remedial actions.  The last but not least, Jilong Mining actively promotes the safety culture to create a conducive environment where safety practice and behavior are  deeply rooted in the the hearts of employees .
